SPYRIDON KOMPITSIS
Spyridon Kompitsis is an entrepreneur who, for more than three decades, has been creating spaces and experiences defined by a distinctive identity.
With a background in Political Science and over thirty years of involvement in design and project development, he has developed a deep understanding of architecture and interior design, shaping a personal approach that combines entrepreneurial thinking, aesthetic discernment and hands-on experience.
Throughout his career, he has created spaces beyond the expected, characterised by a unique identity and atmosphere, which have been recognised for their design and have set new aesthetic standards on the Athens Riviera, in the centre of Athens, Mykonos and Santorini. He has also overseen — from concept to execution and operation — exhibition projects for an internationally recognised art and design institution in Basel, New York, Las Vegas and Houston.
THE HOUSE
The House is the new venture of Spyridon Kompitsis. Currently taking shape in Voula, on the Athens Riviera, it is conceived as a space that brings together contemporary creators, artists, architects, artisans and individuals with deep knowledge of their craft, fostering a creative dialogue between different countries and cultures.
More than an exhibition space, THE HOUSE is designed as an environment where contemporary design, craftsmanship and cultural memory coexist and engage in dialogue, highlighting the value of time, knowledge and human creativity.

As a consultant and Creative Director, Kompitsis defines the identity of each space, carefully shaping its atmosphere, materials, objects and details. His approach is based on a dialogue between past and present: the wisdom of traditional craftsmanship, the sensitivity of contemporary creators and the cultural richness of different parts of the world.
Traditional materials and techniques at risk of disappearing are reinterpreted through a modern lens, creating spaces deeply connected to their roots while remaining open to contemporary life.
